Chocolate!

Indulge in the ultimate luxury – Chocolate! Students who are unfamiliar with working with chocolate, as well as advanced students who truly enjoy it, are welcome. There is always something new to learn, especially from experienced Oh! Chocolate chocolatiers! Among the many chocolate fun facts students will learn, are fascinating ones regarding varietal chocolates and cacao bean percentages. During the “hands-on” segment of the class, students will learn to temper and dip in chocolate so their creations will have a professional look.


Glass Art and the Pacific Northwest

Innovative glass art and northwest cuisine come together for a fun and memorable Pacific Northwest day. Trained artists will lead you in the creation of your very own pieces of glass art. Each participant will be able to create between 2 and 3 pieces, from seafloats, to ornaments, to paper weights. At the end of the class, the instructors will work together with participants to create a beautiful piece valued at over $500 which someone in the class will keep. Hors d’oeuvres and beautiful hand made glass art will keep the group company as they wait for their turn at the giant ovens.


Float Plane Picnics

Get out of town and enjoy a uniquely Northwest picnic option featured in the pages of Bon Appétit Magazine. Experience the thrill of skimming across the water and dodging sailboats as your float plane takes off from in front of the Woodmark Hotel and heads north to the San Juan Islands. Along the way you’ll have a birds-eye view of Puget Sound’s working waterways; container ships, Washington State Ferries, and recreational boats of all types and sizes dot the local waters below. Thirty minutes later you will gently splash down next to a remote northwest beach and gather around picnic blankets for a sumptuous picnic meal featuring Northwest fare.


Western Washington Wine Tour

Board your private motorcoach and take an exclusive journey into Western Washington’s “Wine Country”. Onboard your motorcoach is a trained and certified Sommelier to discuss wine pairings, trivia and history. Your journey will include several stops at a few of the more than 200 wine facilities located in the Woodinville area. From one of the newest wine facilities on the eastside, Novelty Hill/Januik Wineries, to mom-and-pop distributers that normally do not open to the public, you will get a behind the scenes taste of this up-and-coming wine region. Along the way you will sample many varieties and taste bites of well paired appetizers.
